To make a shot, with a good direction of the played ball on the billiard table, U can apply some parameters before to play the shot



On the website of Laurent GUENET, I find a series of questions/answers usefull to do this

ANSWERS

A - half ball (+ or -) and heading shot in the ball

B - with the quantity of ball
by taking less than half a ball the ball is rolling faster and further and is less deflected on the side
by taking more than half a ball  the ball is rolling slower and not as far and is less deflected on the side

C - the english
The amount of english could be 1 to 2,5 to obtain a deflection of 1 to 2,5 spaces between two spots (on the side of the table), this for a one cushion shot in the width.

D - the height of the attack
A drop shot is obtained by taking full ball, it is the height of the attack which is steering the ball 1

E - it manages the direction of ball 1

F - it manages the direction of ball 1

G - the height of the attack

H - the quantity

I - the height of the attack

J - to the speed of ball 1

K -  to the speed of ball 1

L - to the direction of ball 1

M - you need to vary the speed of ball 1, therefore you must modify the english and the height of the attack to adjust the direction of ball 1

N - the tilt of the cue
More vertical, less is the distance running by ball 2
Less vertical, more distance runned by ball 2

O - the height of the attack and the strength of the shot
Lowering the attack and/or higher stength is resulting in more backspin for ball 1  

P - the height of the attack and the strength
Lowering the attack and/or higher stength is resulting in more backspin for ball 1
